Zero-db is a production duo whose specialty is trip hop, jazz and fusion music. They are signed to Ninja Tune and Tru-Thoughts and are associated with artists like Mr Scruff and the Herbaliser.
This was an interesting and unusual project, where I had to transcribe and record trumpet lines from Miles Davis solos, performing stylistically verbatim with all the detailed nuances of his sound, which they then cut up and messed around with.
